FRIDAY'S FESTIVE FARE..."CANDACE’S FAVORITE 30 CALORIE COFFEE & CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE"

 For now our YouTube channel is called Sharkie1225, but that name will be changing shortly. For now, go ahead and Log on to that YouTube channel and HIT 'subscribe ' . By tomorrow late afternoon our video for making this milkshake will be there for you to see. You will be following along with me in my own  kitchen!!! However, it was enough to know my stuff and before my 20 yr. fitness career I did makeup! SO, I also did the makeup for many a model's portfolio picture too), and Faith in order to bring the issues that really matter to light; all the things that this “Fitness Diva” knows must be attended to in order for you to live an ABUNDANT LIFE. As a Nutrition Specialist, part of my job is to find great ways to make all kinds of healthy, fabulous, low calorie foods and treats for you to enjoy.

This is one of my best inventions yet…….enjoy!!

*There are two ways to make this. The first option starts with making and freezing your coffee and is also posted first here. The second is made with four shots of cold but not frozen espresso. They both taste great. Really just depends on what kind of time you have. Here is the first option. The second espresso method will be listed below…ENJOY .

Make and freeze 12 ounces of your favorite vanilla flavored coffee over night or at least four hours.

Regular or decaffeinated.…it’s up to you and the time of day as well

(Freeze in 4 small cups. Makes it easier to blend)

Set these cups out about 45 minutes before ready to make.

In LARGE POWERFUL BLENDER…

Add one small cup of partially defrosted coffee.

Pour in approximately 1/3rd to 1/4th cup of Sugar Free Silk Almost milk

Add approximately ¼ to 1/3 cup of Torani Sugar Free (zero calorie) Vanilla Flavoring Coffee Syrup.

Add several Splenda packets to taste (your preference of how sweet you like it).

Optional; add Cinnamon (one or two teaspoons) if you like, it adds a great taste and kick of IRON believe it or not.

Blend and start adding the additional cups of coffee one at a time until each is blended before adding the next.

Pour up in a large beautiful glass.

Add (drop in) one or two tablespoons of Walden Farms Calorie Free/Sugar Free, Chocolate or Caramel Dip.

Pour Walden Farms Calorie Free/Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup over the top to taste.

Swirl a dab… one or two servings worth of Redi Whip Fat Free Whip Cream on the top. Five calories per two tablespoon serving, YUMMM……..

Add a spoon and a straw and……

TA DA!! You have made a filling, delicious, nearly calorie free, fat free, chocolate - coffee milkshake…with approximately 18 calories total. Or, a max of 30 TOTAL if using the Whip Cream, and WOW is it AMAZING!

The Second option is to make or BUY a 4 shot cup of espresso and put in the refrigerator until cold. If you choose this method, you then just pour the cold espresso into a powerful blender. Next, pour in the Torani Sugar Free Vanilla syrup to taste. Next add Splenda packets for desired level of sweetness and approximately ¼ to ½ cup Silk Sugar Free Almond milk. Add crushed ice OR ice cubes til they are just at the top of the mixture in the blender. Blend until desired consistency. Line the sides of a LARGE BEAUTIFUL MILK SHAKE TYPE GLASS with WALDEN FARMS sugar free, low calorie Chocolate Syrup and pour mixture from blender into glass. Stir until the chocolate syrup from the outside of the glass has blended with the rest of the ingredients and then… ADD MORE CHOCOLATE SYRUP IF YOU SO DESIRE! Top It all off with a good two Tablespoons (5 calories) or four Tablespoons (for a total of 10 calories) of Fat Free Redi Whip whip cream and DRINK UP GUILT FREE!
